Likewise here - I keep driving by and never stopping in. This might have to change soon. I love the diner 2-egg, homefries and toast deals. They just taste better when in a diner.
I like the trucker's specials.
Last time I was there, the waitress was a genuine dinerlady who kept going outside to puff on her cigarette. I loved it.
I made a great omelet this morning, C -- wish you'd been here to eat it. The process was spontaneous and chaotic -- two of my cooking hallmarks : ). I was about to make a scramble and then changed my mind. My mis-en-place was seriously lacking, to the point that I was dashing between the stove and fridge frantically, tossing in arugula and grating cheese right into the pan -- while praying the eggs didn't cook too fast. But by some miracle it turned out perfect -- thin and wet and flavorful, the egg almost like a crepe. I realized that the reason I loathe most restaurant omelets is that they're generally made with way the hell too much egg.
And then I thought, hmmm, I bet Celina has something about omelets on celinabean, and there was the twitter note about Thomas.
I'd very much like you to join the conversation. The only rule: treat everyone else in the conversation with kindness and respect. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks!

I've driven by this place several times a week for four years now, but never thought to stop in. It's nice to see a review of it.
